"Jackson was born October 1st in Augusta, Georgia, earned a B.A. from Goddard College and an M.L.S. from the University of the District of Colombia, and has lived in Washington, D.C. since 1959. He has contributed to a wide variety of periodicals. Author of Fingering the Keys (1990), Jackson also wrote an earlier chapbook, Potentially Yours.
